I had my fifth chemo treatment yesterday, which went off without a hitch. I had very nice company from old friends (all from Newburyport) who probably wanted to visit in more pleasant surroundings. It was great fun to have visitors!
I am starting to see that when this treatment is over, life will be very good!!
The kids have resettled in school and life is very busy when they are around. Everyday seems very scheduled. There are no such things as pick up sports in the neighborhood. There is a part of me that longs for a more casual lifestyle without all the driving. But this is the way it is...
Enjoy the Fall weather. I has been glorious for more than a few days.

Maura, I'm so happy to learn the treatment was uneventful!! Great.
I have a wonderful class of 17 5th graders, 10 boys & 7 girls. The "honeymoon" is still on ~ they are wonderful, as I anticipate they will be throughout the year.
The impatients are leggy, but brilliant in color ~ I don't want a frost to strike.
Hi to all,
Love,
Cassy
Robert sends his best.
Glad to hear you had a smooth round of Chemo. Life is good in Anchorage. A moose ran off with our volleyball net adn the Feds may run off with our senator. We'll see.
Take care.

Maura,
I'm glad the treatment went well and you had visitors to keep you company. I'll give you a ring in the next day or two.
Much love,
Karen
Hi Maura, So nice of you to call last night on my return from Concord,

I'm in awe! Great to see you and Bill and Nathaniel and Emily and also Bill's brother John too!
How nice ZI had that little quick visit.
I had a mission to get up there to see you/ it had been too long. Last i saw you was early June I think. I had wanted to see you in Nonquit but..my New Brunswick plans got in the way.
I would not know you were going through all this serious health crisis at all, except for the shortened hair do ;-)
Keep on keeping on.
All my best to you on the next clinic visit!
I had to have my Maura fix!

Hey, Maura.
Back in Concord after a too-short summer and so glad to hear that the treatments are going well and that you're in such good spirits. I'd love to reconnect when you're up for a visit.
Take care,
Nicole
